In order to intensify the implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed by the World Intellectual Property Organization, Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia, University of Finance and Economics, Mongolian National University of Arts and Culture, a meeting was held with David Simmons, Counsellor, Division for Asia and Development sector of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), representatives of the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia and the management of UFE and MNUAC to consult on measures to be implemented in the future
At the meeting, Ankhtuya.D Provost for platform partnership, Batkhuyag.G, Provost for advanced research and training, Munkhzaya.B, Provost for undergraduate teaching and research, R. Bolor-Oyu, Cooperation and partnership officer of UFE and Ms. Odsuren.D, Head of Quality Assurance Program Committee, Mr. Erkhemtugs.J, Chairman of the Development Committee of MNUAC participated and briefly introduced their universities, the results they intend to achieve within the implementation of the memorandum of understanding, and the work they plan to do.
Within the framework of the memorandum,David Simmons, Counsellor, Division for Asia and Development sector of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)gave information regarding inclusion of intellectual property content in the universities curricula, the possible support for curriculum development, IP training ofteachers and professional development in the plan of next year of the WIPO Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau.
