The “WIPO Inventor Award” is presented to inventors and inventions recognizing their valuable contribution to the development of economic, technical, and technological advancement and supporting WIPO’s Member states’ initiation to invent and innovate. WIPO Inventor Award was awarded to Dr. N.Baasanjav, Labor Hero and People’s Doctor on 10 March, 2021 in Ulaanbaatar.  

People's Doctor N.Baasanjav is a leading doctor and academician of Mongolia who has been working in the health sector since 1967 as well as he is an innovator and inventor. His contribution to the protection of public health and the development of the health sector is recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organization's "Inventor Award". The award is given to the inventors who have made a significant contribution to the economic and technological development of the country, protected by intellectual property rights, and introduced into use and the award has been given to 18 Mongolian inventors since 1986.
